Description:
TAGXONE is a foliar-applied insecticide containing Thiamethoxam, a second-generation neonicotinoid from the thianicotinyl subclass. It offers excellent control of a broad range of sucking and chewing pests at low application rates. Thiamethoxam, due to its high water solubility and low partition coefficient, exhibits exceptional translaminar movement into plant tissue, effectively controlling pests by targeting the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the insect’s nervous system. TAGXONE is not known to exhibit cross-resistance with other insecticide classes.

What It Controls:

• Rice: Stem Borer, Gall Midge, Leaf Folder, Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), Whiteback Plant Hopper (WBPH), Green Leaf Hopper (GLH), Thrips, Jassids.
• Cotton: Thrips, Aphids, Whiteflies, Mosquito Bug.
• Mango, Wheat, Okra, Mustard: General pests at initial pest appearance.
• Potato, Tomato, Brinjal: General pests, with application repeated 2-3 times as needed.
• Tea & Citrus: Psylla in Citrus, general pest control in tea, with 2-3 sprays at 15-21 days intervals.

Time of Application:

• Rice:
  • First spray: 25-30 days after transplanting (DAT) for early pest control.
  • Second spray: At the booting leaf stage (50-55 DAT) for late pest control.
• Cotton:
  • First spray: 25-30 days after sowing (DAS) or at first pest appearance.
  • Repeat 2-3 sprays at 15-day intervals depending on pest intensity.
• Mango, Wheat, Okra, Mustard:
  • First spray: At initial pest appearance.
  • Repeat one or two sprays at 15-day intervals depending on pest intensity.
• Potato, Tomato, Brinjal:
  • First spray: At initial pest appearance.
  • Repeat 2-3 sprays at 10-15 day intervals.
• Tea & Citrus:
  • First spray: At initial pest appearance.
  • Repeat 2-3 sprays at 15-21 day intervals.

Dose/Acre:
200–250 grams per acre.

Application Method:

• Foliar Spray:
  • Mix the recommended quantity of TAGXONE with water and apply using a sprayer.
  • Ensure even coverage of the foliage.
• Soil Drench (for Tea and Citrus):
  • Apply a root zone drench before pest appearance once during the crop season.

Precautions:
